拍品描述: Miniature painting with color and some gold. India, Kotah style, late 19th to 20th cent. A fine painting in wide format with view on a terrace in front of a hilly landscape. A bearded rcja with sword, dagger and turban smokes a hookah. Opposite him is an elegantly dressed visitor. The smaller painted figures are companions and servants. Very delicately painted floral ornament on the long, blue carpet upon which everyone meets. Behind the white terrace railing are finely painted lotus blossoms.
