Jade. China, in style of the Shang Period
Elegant jewelry piece designed in S-form of an archaic kui dragon with only one leg. The front part of the dragon body builds a ring together with the expressively crafted head that is rotated to the rear, the tail a spiral. Small fields with grid pattern are featured on the mainly smooth body. Yellowish-green color of the jade, good translucence, several red-brown areas (iron), whose positioning is well-chosen (somewhat flaming at end of the tail). This jade might be from recent years.
