Well potted with gently curving sides, painted in vivid tones of underglaze-blue with characteristic 'heaping and piling' in the center with a ribboned bouquet of lotus flowers encircled by three concentric rings, surrounded by a composite floral meander of camellia, hibiscus, peony, gardenia and lotus blooms in the cavetto beneath a classic scroll band at the lip, with a similar flower scroll on the exterior above a key-fret band, the base unglazed, the foot-ring and base burnt slightly orange-brown during firing, 15.25 inch diameter
