拍品描述: Massachusetts Weight Driven Mahogany Banjo Clock. Original 7 in. painted metal dial with black hour numbers and original blued hands; typical brass 8 day weight driven time only banjo style movement with brass pulley, lead weight, steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob. In a mahogany banjo style case with brass eagle finial, brass door bezel, pierced brass side arms, original reverse painted throat glass and original reverse painted lower tablet displaying the USS Enterprise capturing the HMS Boxer (war of 1812). Case stamped “Sherman T. Fearing, Rochester, Mass.”, nice condition, original finish, c.20th century. 32.75 in. high x 9.75 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep. Weight: 15.5 lbs.
