拍品描述: Seth Thomas Triple Decker Mantle Clock. 7 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, floral corner spandrels and pierced blued hands; brass 8 day weight driven movement signed “S. Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.” has pierced lyre shaped plates, hour countwheel strike mechanism on a coiled gong, typical 8 day iron side weights, long pendulum rod and original lead bob. In a mahogany case with overhanging cornice top, turned and gilt highlighted half columns over serpentine corbels and reverse painted black and gilt original tablet and lower door glass; signed with a paper label for Seth Thomas in the back of the case. In nice condition with minor touchups to the veneer, repainted dial, clean enhanced original finish. 32.5 in. high x 18.25 in. wide x 5.75 in. deep. Weight: 28.25 lbs.
