拍品描述: American Weight Driven Mahogany Banjo Clock. 7 in. painted metal dial signed “Warranted by S. Whiting, Concord”, has black Roman hour numerals and blued hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with brass pulley, lead weight, long steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob. In a mahogany banjo style case with striped inlays around the original reverse painted throat glass and tablet with Constitution & Guerriere ship battle scent from the War of 1812, has a gilt brass eagle finial and pierced brass side arms; in good overall condition, case has a very old overcoated finish, has an early 19th century dial with a later 19th century movement & case. 33.5 in. high x 10.25 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 17.25 lbs.
