拍品描述: Farcot French Figural Swinger Mantle Clock. 4.5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and open center exposing the skeletonized front plate of the movement; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement signed “Chappement, Brevete, Fot” with eagle mark for Farcot, has a duplex escapement with figural putti pendulum bob swinging front to back. In a carved alabaster case with turned feet, rectangular base and scrolled supports with incised decor. Case has some repair with white paint to the front; clock is running. 13.5 in. high x 10.75 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep. Weight: 10.25 lbs.
