拍品描述: Seth Thomas Parlor Model Calendar Clock. Original 7 in. painted metal time dial with black Roman hour numerals and blued pierced hands; brass 8 day weight driven movement signed “S. Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.” has pierced lyre shaped plates, countwheel hour strike on a coiled gong and wood pulleys for iron side weights. Lower 7 in. painted metal calendar dial with 31 date numbers and open apertures exposing the day and month cylinders; perpetual calendar mechanism with original labels, not working. In a rosewood ogee style case with hexagonal half columns, original gilt and black reverse painted center tablet, in original finish, as found, missing weights; case is signed with an original paper label for “Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.”. 30.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 5.75 in. deep. Weight: 17.75 lbs.
