拍品描述: Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Beehive Clock. 6 in. silvered dial signed “Seth Thomas, Sonora Chime” has black incised hour numbers and fancy pierced hands, gilt brass pierced filigree decorated back plate and center with sub dials for Silent-Chime and Whittington-Westminster; brass 8 day spring driven movement No. 80X stamped “Made in U.S America”, has a progressive quarter hour strike on a nest of 8 bells running on a separate movement numbered 140E and strikes the hour on the hour. In a large sized mahogany beehive case with beveled glass in the front door and pierced carved side panels. Original finish, nice overall condition, chime and strike mechanisms are functioning, time mechanism is not working. 18 in. high x 12.25 in. wide x 9.25 in. deep. Weight: 20 lbs.
