拍品描述: Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Black marble case with relief decorated plaque of playful putti, standing figural robed maidens leaning in to the corners and a fancy medallion design around the bezel & door glass; bronze has a medium brown and copper colored patina. 4 in. black marble dial has gilt incised Roman hour numeral, gilt spade and pointer hands and dial signed “Stuart & Shepard, New York”; round, brass, spring driven movement has a quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs. Movement is not running or striking. 13.5 in. high x 17 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
