拍品描述: Waltham No. 14 Mahogany Grandfather Clock. 12 in. silvered dial signed “Waltham Clock Co.” has applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds and sub calendar dials, pierced filigree decorated center and corner spandrels and moon phase dial; brass 2 weight driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong, long steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob, brass pulleys and brass covered weights. In a carved mahogany model 14 case with pediment crest having turned finials and turned corner columns, the case body has beveled glass, turned half columns, seashell carved at the top of the door and figural winged carved panel in the base, standing on claw feet. Has an overcoated alligatored finish, in nice overall condition. 101.5 in. high x 26 in. wide x 18.5 in. deep.
