拍品描述: Palmer Bachelder & Co. Marble Mantle Clock. 4.5 in. inset porcelain dial signed “Palmer Bachelder & Co., Boston” with black Roman hour numerals, blued hands, exposed Brocot escapement having jeweled pallets, brass door bezel with beveled crystal; typical round brass spring driven movement has a half hour strike on a bell, movement runs but does not strike. In an excellent black marble case with arched top, square front pilasters, highlighted with rouge marble inlays and gilt incised filigree, case is in very nice condition having minor chips and has repair to the marble above the rear feet. 15.25 in. high x 14 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep. Weight: 44.75 lbs.
