拍品描述: Brass Hour Repeater Carriage Clock w/ Alarm. Engraved gilt brass front plate with inset 2.25 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and sub alarm dial; quality brass 8 day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, hour strike on a coiled gong, hour repeater button on the top of the case and separate spring and hammer for the alarm mechanism. Gilt brass case with hinged handle, beveled glass on the front & rear doors, sides and oval top exposing the escapement; on a fancy base with winged maiden corner mounts with twisted serpent tail feet. Has chips on 2 glass panels, clock winds, strike, runs, repeats and alarm functions. 9 in. high x 5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep. Weight: 5.75 lbs.
