拍品描述: French Quarter Hour Strike Tower Clock. Large pierced decorated cast iron plates numbered “3” on a gothic cast iron base, has a pinwheel escapement, maintaining power with 3 winds; rack & snail quarter hour strike and 5 in. porcelain sub dial signed “Prost Freres”. Accompanied by 3 cast bronze tower bells; heavy iron pendulum bob on a wood stick and 30 in. dia. obverse painted glass dial with hands and gears mounted behind the dial. As found in the estate. Measures: 22 in. high x 43.5 in. wide x 20 in. deep.
