拍品描述: Attr: H. Tifft Mahogany Banjo Clock. Original 7 in. repainted iron dial inscribed “A. Willard Jr., Boston” has black Roman hour numerals and good period hands painted black; typical 8 day weight driven time only movement with brass pulley, proper iron weight, long steel pendulum rid and brass covered bob. In a mahogany banjo style case with turned acorn finial, round bezel, beveled throat and lower door frames with inset mahogany panels and has excellent scroll carved mahogany side arms. Enhanced original finish, loss to the finial plinth and 1 side arm, missing lockdown hardware, case stamped with number “83”. 33 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Weight: 13.75 lbs.
