拍品描述: English Mahogany Jewelers Pinwheel Floor Regulator. Large 13 in. porcelain dial signed “Lamy, London”, has black Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced blued hands with sweep seconds hand and a large brass bezel; quality brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a pinwheel escapement, maintaining power, rectangular plates with heavy turned posts and brass covered weight. The high quality oversized gridiron pendulum has a 2 tone rods, lyre shaped sash, 13 in. dia. brass covered bob and beat adjustment “Dilation & Condensation” scale and indicator on the front. In a mahogany case with cornice top and bottom, with large glass door panel and stands on turned feet. Enhanced original finish, some veneer losses to the front of the door; exceptional movement married to a period case. 72 in. high x 20 in. wide x 10 in. deep.
