拍品描述: Japy Freres Figural Bronze Mantle Clock. Standing bronze figure of a woman wearing a long dress cinched at the waist, she is holding a large sphere over her head which contains the timepiece, has a dark brown original patina; unsigned, on a black marble plinth base. 4 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and beveled crystal; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Japy Freres”, has a half hour strike on a bell, platform lever escapement in running condition with good balance wheel. 22.75 in. high x 6.25 in. dia. Weight: 16.75 lbs.
