拍品描述: French Industrial Steam Hammer Clock. The large bronze case has gilt brass trimmings with a piston cylinder on top and a lever leading over to a platform on the left side, between the legs of the frame is an anvil and hammer which rocks up and down forming the visible portion of the complex pendulum. Has a round French brass movement signed GLT Paris (Guilmet) and numbered 377; movement has a steel pin pallet escapement and strikes on a steel bell. In very good condition, silvered dial has a good patina. 18 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep. Weight: 19.25 lbs.
