拍品描述: 16 Pc. Attr. R.J. Horner Oak Dining Set. Sideboard has a tall back splash with overhanging cornice top with swirling carvings on the frieze, large turned support columns with carved capitals, carved side pilasters, carved inset center panel with fruit basket and side panels with hunting scene and falconer; the base has 3 drawers with rounded carved fronts & pulls over 3 carved doors, center door hinged at the bottom with 4 drawers inside, large turned corner columns, figural lions head pilasters between, 3 drawers in the base and stands on carved and turned feet. Matching server has a 3 paneled carved back splash with side pilasters, large turned columns, one long drawer in the top raised on turned corner columns, open bottom and single drawer in the base. China cabinet has a matching crest with bowed glass door with glass panels on the left and right, glass sides and mirrored back; turned and heavily carved side columns over figural lions head pilasters and stands on turned feet. The 60 in. dia. split pedestal dining table has a bowed and carved apron, large center pedestal with carved sides and lions head pilasters with large turned and heavily carved support column (has center leg & 7 leaves). 12 matching chairs including 2 armchairs and 10 side chairs have lions heads carved at the ends of the arms. In excellent overall condition has a chip to one pull on the sideboard, few minor carving chips to the chairs; has an excellent dark brown original finish, table top is refinished, has a natural seam separation and some chipping along the center edge. Sideboard: 61 in. high x 80 in. wide x 28 in. deep - Server: 52 in. high x 49.5 in. wide x 22 in. deep - China: 69 in. high x 51.5 in. wide x 17 in. deep - Table: 30 in. high x 60 in. dia. - Armchairs: 42 in. high x 25 in. wide x 22 in. deep. - Sidechairs: 41 in. high x 20 in. wide x 18 in. deep.
