拍品描述: B.F. Wood Mahogany Weight Driven Banjo Clock. Bert Francis Wood (1870-1952). Original 7 in. painted metal dial signed “B.F. Wood, Winchester, NH” has black Roman hour numerals and blued hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement signed “Made by B. F. Wood, Winchester, NH”, Numbered “5” and dated “11 – 25 – 1929”, has a brass pulley, lead weight, steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a mahogany banjo style case with gilt brass eagle finial, pierced brass side arms, bras dial bezel with convex glass, beveled frame work around the original reverse painted George Washington and Mt. Vernon tablet and throat glasses, original finish. 32.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep. Weight: 15 lbs.
