拍品描述: E. Howard No. 72 Wall Regulator. 12 in. painted metal dial (old repaint) signed E. Howard & Co. Boston” with black Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial, blued pierced diamond hands; quality brass weight driven 8 day time only signed “E. Howard & Co., Boston” No. 1 movement has Geneva stop, maintaining power, quality brass pulley & No. 1 iron weight behind the wood backboard, turned and silvered wood pendulum stick with fancy engraved silvered bob and lockdown hardware. In a beautiful carved mahogany case with carved gallery crest under 4 turned corner finials, acanthus leaf carved frieze, carved quarter fan corner spandrels around the dial glass, inset side panels and corbeled cut base with teardrop finial; in nice condition with an enhanced original medium red-brown finish, missing tablet glass. 63.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
