拍品描述: Gorham Martele Silver Sandwich Tray. The finest of Gorham’s product lines, the 958.5-1000 silver purity made the metal softer and more malleable to be hand hammered to shape and hand chased to design; this particular tray has a wavy edge with 8 beautiful flowers and leaves, stands on a round foot with a fine hammered surface, fancy hand chased monogram “B” in the center and is in excellent condition having some surface scratches on the top. Signed with Gorham hallmarks under an eagle with wings spread and reads “Martele”, silver purity .9584-1000 and initials PTZ. Measures 0.75 in. high x 12.5 in. dia. Weight: 31.3 ozt.
