拍品描述: Pr. Exceptional Russian Silver Cup Holders. Beautiful repousse silver cup holders titled in Cyrillic “Sadkov Is Playing On Guselki” (a guselki is a Zither style instrument), depicts a kneeling man playing his instrument with a castle style townscape behind him and a crowned mythical face of the wind blowing from the left; excellent quality and in very good condition. Signed with Imperial Eagle hallmark, Cyrillic makers mark for Mikhail Ovchinnikov, 1885 assayers mark, town mark and 84 zol. silver purity mark. 4.5 in. high x 4.75 in. wide x 3.5 in. dia. & 3 in. inside dia. Weight: 15.46 ozt.
