拍品描述: Seth Thomas No. 21 Hall Regulator. 12 in. silvered dial has a “sunflower” center pattern with scalloped edge and engraved woven center, applied brass roman hour numerals, 2.5 in. sub seconds dial and blued hands; large pierced brass 8 day weight driven movement has a deadbeat escapement, retaining power, lantern pinions, quarter hour chime on 2 cupped bells and hour strike on a large bell; movement is mounted on an iron bracket, has quality brass pulleys, 3 brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum bob with a long ebonized wood stick. In a tall carved mahogany case with filigree carved crest having raised burled panels, rosettes and corner finials, turned columns on the bonnet door, beveled glass on the lower door, raised panel base with door in the front and stands on carved claw feet. Case is stamped on the back with the number “12” and stenciled with serial number “58811”, has a cleaned and enhanced finish, in good overall condition. 94 in. high x 18 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.
