拍品描述: Fine Regence Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Contre-Partie Boullework and Ebonized Bureau Plat. The rectangular top with inset tooled black leather within a scrolling boullework border and gilt bronze edge, the rounded corners with shell and cabochon mounts above a frieze fitted with three drawers within gilt bronze borders centering masks of Apollo; the sides centering masks of Zeus raised on cabriole legs with plumed espanolette chutes continuing to hoof form sabots, overall with inset contre-partie boullwork, the lockplate stamped "P. Sormani Paris". Fourth Quarter 19th Century. Dimensions 29 1/2 x 55 x 31 1/2 inches (74.9 x 139.7 x 80 cm). With additional glass top.
