拍品描述: Fine Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Parquetry Triple Vitrine Cabinet. Maison Jansen. Fourth Quarter 19th Century. The inset white marble top of breakfront outline above a sloped frieze centering a Zephyr mask, and two beveled glazed cabinet doors within rocaille, leaf and C-scroll encadrements, the corners with Zephyr mask chutes, opening to an upholstered interior with glass shelves, the case sides similarly glazed, raised on cabriole legs with shell cast sabots. Founded in Paris in 1880 by Jean-Henri Jansen (1854-1929), Maison Jansen was the first truly global interior design house. During the period of 1895-1900 Jansen bought master models of the celebrated furniture maker Joseph-Emmanuel Zwiener, and renamed the business 'Zwiener Jansen Successeur'. Jansen continued to faithfully produce Zwiener's creations. Dimensions 62 x 85 3/4 x 17 inches.
