拍品描述: Rare Pair of Sèvres Style Bleu Celeste Porcelain and Gilt Bronze Mounted Jardini?res. Each panel of the square form, the first panel with an amorous couple and her attendant in eighteenth century dress, the other three panels with copious floral bouquets of roses, violets, asters, and anemones, reserved within a bleu celeste ground within a gilt foliate scroll panel, marked with interlaced L's mark. Fourth Quarter 19th Century. Dimensions 12 3/4 x 10 3/4 x 11 inches (32.4 x 27.3 x 28 cm). A very similar pair of jardinieres sold: Christies, London, March 19, 2008, 19th Century Furniture, Sculpture, Works of Art and Ceramics, Lot 67 and realized $39,636.
