拍品描述: EDWARD BOREIN (American 1872-1945) "Who Wins?" and "Arizona Cowpunchers" Etching and drypoint. Image: 4 15/16 x 4 inches; Sheet: 9 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches; Frame: 12 3/8 x 10 1/2 inches. Image: 4 11/16 x 8 15/16 inches; Sheet: 7 5/8 x 10 inches; Frame: 10 x 13 3/8 inches. Signed in plate: Edward Borein and signed in pencil lower right: Edward Borein with small remarque in lower left corner of running cowboy. Signed in pencil lower right: Edward Borein. Literature: Both images found "The Etchings of Edward Borein A Catalogue of his work" by John Galvin published by John Howell, San Francisco CA. "Who Wins?" plate 63; "Arizona Cowpunchers" plate 40. CONDITION: In overall good condition. "Who Wins?" when examined out of the frame the sheet is not laid down but is taped on all four sides discoloration to the sheet from being in the sun. Would benefit from being re-framed. "Arizona Cowpunchers" when examined out of the frame the sheet is not laid down, the sheet has mat burn with heavy foxing in the lower right quadrant in the signature.
