拍品描述: 19th/20th century, some inscribed with characters and string ties, comprising: five carved wood visages decorated in painted, lacquer gesso, of Tengu, 8 x 6 x 7 in., [some paint loss, horse hair loss, gilt loss at teeth and eyes]; an onna, 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 x 3 in., [paint loss at string holes]; an okina, 8 x 5 x 3 in., [repair at top, gesso break at top with paint loss, discoloration to paint]; a hennya, 9-1/2 x 6 x 5 in., [very good condition]; an okame, 8 x 6 x 3 in., [gesso break at top with paint loss, loss at eye, gesso crack at mouth, chin, eyes, some discoloration to paint];?two lacquer papier maché kishin, 10 x 8 x 6 in., [overall good condition with some abrasions and paint loss]; 13 x 11 x 8 in., [wear to rope and tassel, surface dirt];?a?red lacquer O-beshimi, 8 x 7 x 4 in., [good condition]; a resin Tengu, 8-1/2 x 6 x 6-1/2 in., [good condition]; and a cast iron okina with hinged jaw, 7 x 5-1/2 x 3-1/2 in., [oxidation with some light abrasions, bristle loss at beard]
