拍品描述: Gilt-bronze, inlays. Nepalese/Tibetan, 20th cent. The goddess Green Tara, Shyamatara, in a very feminine depiction, seated on a lotus pedestal. One hand offers the “wish-fulfilling” gesture, the other is raised gesturing reassurance, extending two fingers in dense from demons. Tara rests one foot on a small lotus pedestal, with a lotus flower above each shoulder. She wears rich jewellery, a five-jagged crown of a bodhisattva and is surrounded by heavenly garlands.
