Iron with iroe-takazogan. Japan, 18th to 19th cent.
Both items show a depiction in raised relief of a sitting man; heads, hands and feet in silver. Each basket, and also some other details, are with gold nunome. They could possibly be farmers, as suggested by the sickle and rice fields. Partly strong rust patina, which adds to the effect and also creates a nice contrast.
