拍品描述: Silver and gilding. China, presumably Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) Square form with lightly curved sides and retracted corners. The ornament is fine and compact over an embossed ground. Floral composition with feather-shaped foliage and stylized blossoms. Big butterflies in the corners, little ones in between, hardly distinguishable from the leaves, are fluttering.
