拍品描述: Bronze. Nepal, possibly 19th century Unusual multi-parted bronze, raised on a domed foot with jagged rim, surmounted of an elongated stand ending with a lantern-shaped element, the four edges of which are decorated with figures in a worship pose and birds; the roof of the lantern topped with a figure cast with bell-shaped body and double head, the four arms holding trident and blades; the figure pierced with a loop to attach a round decorative sade with metal ornaments, strong age patina. Eine sehr ungew?hnliche Bronze aus mehreren Teilen. Kuppeliger Fu? mit gezacktem Rand, darüber teils kantige, teils runde S?ule mit Aufbau ?hnlich einer Laterne, an jeder Ecke derselben eine Figur mit Anbetungshaltung, an den Ecken des Daches jeweils ein Vogelkopf. Auf dieses steile Dach aufgesteckt eine zweik?pfige Figur, der K?rper glockenf?rmig. In den vier H?nden Dreizack und Klingen, m?glw. eine kriegerische Dorfgottheit, vielleicht von Indra oder Skanda abgeleitet.
