拍品描述: Terracotta. China, Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) Typical depiction from the earlier Tang era, as the main city Chang′an on the intact Silk Road was inhabited by many foreigners. Merchants came especially from Samarkand and Bocchara. The characterful and very animated depiction has powerful bushy eyebrows, big eyes and nose and open expressive mouth.
