Silver, bamboo, horn, bone, wood, lacquer. Japan, LENGTH PIPE AND QUIVER 20 CM, HEIGHT VESSEL 6,2 CM
A truly unusual and refined group comprising a tobacco vessel and kiseruzutsu (pipe quiver), further comprising a characteristic Japanese pipe kiseru and one ojime, the quiver possibly carved from one trunk and bearing one open side formed as a fish mouth, the irregular vessel cut from massive bone and presents rustic shaded structure that is decoratively contrasting the even bottom and the lid rendered with black urushi, the horn ojime formed as a temple bell, kiseru cut from red brown bamboo, silver crafted arched endings, very tiny pipe bowl, good condition.
