拍品描述: Yellow bronze. China, Qing dynasty, 19th cent. Fine figure, possibly a fairy and an accompanying figure of Xiwangmu (?The Queen Mother oft he West“), clad in a noble long robe with artemisia, and bearing a ruyi-symbol on her breast. The face is delicate and with a slightly smiling expression, the hair coiffed in a top knot. With seperately casted hands, one holding the jar containing the elixir of immortality. Deep blackening and patina, some fingers lost, head reattached but overall in good condition. HEIGHT 24 CM From a German private collection -
