拍品描述: Four character mark JINGDEZHEN zhi. Porcelain. China, Republic to 1900, about 19th - 1st half of 20th cent. Two tall-necked vases in very attractive colour, with bellied bodies and flared lips. The beautiful apple-green glaze offers an eloquent mottled visual texture. The lip, interior and bottom have a cream-white glaze and craquele. On the bottom of each vase in underglaze blue, the four character mark JINGDEZHEN zhi (made in year). 綠釉花瓶一對. 中國, 清代晚期至民國時期. 高 22 厘米. HEIGHTS APPROX. 22 CM From the collection of Jürgen L. Fischer, Ascona The renowned collector of Chinese porcelain Jürgen L. Fischer lived in Ascona, located in the Swiss Kanton Tessin at Lago Maggiore. The extensive size of the collection is largely owed to the family’s fortune, secured by pharmacist August Fischer and his revolutionary invention – the world’s first adhesive made from synthetic resin, the famous “Uhu Alleskleber”, developed in 1932. Jürgen L. Fischer lived until 2013 and was an avid collector of Chinese porcelain whose astonishing taste encompassed a broad spectrum of types, of all sizes and with origins spanning across millennia. Jürgen Fischer passed on his comprehensive knowledge in numerous text books – among others, his large and very instructive book about the art of Chinese snuffbottles and also an antiquarian’s guide to Chinese art.
