拍品描述: Miniature painting with colors and some gold and silver. India, 1st half 19th cent. The third page in a monthly series, titled Posh Mahino. The picture shows a white palace and a row of female and male persons. Blue Krishna is sitting on a terrace upstairs, the incarnation of the god Vishnu. Krishna wears lavish jewelry and sits at a small table across from a Nayika. Further ladies on the vestibule, also two men warming themselves in front of a fire. In the building right is another Krishna, where a servant assists him. Foreground right, a cabin with a little painted man. In background, banana trees, other trees and clouds.
