拍品描述: Miniature painting with colour. India, Sirohi school, 1st half of 18th cent. Rare and early work from the Sirohi school, centrally portraying a dame beholding herself in a mirror held up by her female servant. Both are seated, another servant is standing and blowing cool wind towards them with a fan. Jewellery and clothing decorations are painted fastidiously fine. In the foreground a pot and beaker, wall and fish pond, in the background trees, a white pavillon and clouds. Devangari script on the back. SIZE 25 x 14,5 CM From an Italian private collection
