India, Rajasthan, 19th century Very charming depiction, appealingly painted with a half-naked maid shown in the center; she is barefoot, wearing a long silk-skirt with rich folds, her head draped with a long silk textile; the face and upper body are crisply painted to please the eyes! Her long black hair falling over her fresh breasts to meet the tapered waist, the eyes of almond shape displaying a sensuous expression just as her whole posture;all painted in front of a dark background to enhance the depiction, floral border within the frame, minor wear to edges, the center of good condition. SIZE LEAF 24,5 x 16,5 CM From a German private collection ?u?erst reizvoll gearbeitete Darstellung, die ein halbnacktes M?dchen in den Mittelpunkt stellt.
