拍品描述: Original woodblock print. Japan, 19th cent. The piece is not a usual artist-made woodblock print, but a picture to color-in for kids, which makes it a true rarity. The aim is to apply facial features to the Daruma doll with ink, thus presenting it with a friendly appearance. The characters above read: Left: fuku (luck) Right: warai (laughter). Original woodblock print. Condition: Good color and print, some old hand-written annotations and numerations in the plain area on the bottom-right. SIZE: APPROX. 24 x 33 CM
