拍品描述: Bronze. South India, ca. 18th – 19th century Cast relief depicting Shiva Virabhadra, in four-armed manifestation, the upper hands with bow and arrow, the lower hands holding shield and sword (lost); the foot section depicting miniature figures in worship posture, one with goat head (Daksha), further depicting nandi arranged in the upper right corner, surrounded by flaming nimbus (one section with loss), patina. HEIGHT 15,5 CM From a German private collection Das Relief stellt die Hindu-Gottheit Shiva als Virabhadra dar, den ?Siegreichen“. Sie ist vierarmig und h?lt oben die Attribute Bogen und Pfeil, unten Schild und Schwert (fehlt).
