拍品描述: Satsuma ceramic with gold. Japan, Decorative and elaborate Amida Butsu in his typical pose. Referred to as Buddha Amithaba in Sanskrit, or he who rules the “Western paradise”. He is seated in the lotus pose and holding his hands on his lap in the so-called chiken-in pose. Rich floral decorations embellish his garment, including flowers, leaves and clouds, but also a white daikon (radish). A high head, the face with a meditative expression, an urna on the forehead, the black hair above holds Amida’s typical jewel. Good condition. HEIGHT 26,4 CM From a Viennese collection -
