Description: *A Korean wire, shagreen, and mother of pearl inlaid lacquer clothing box
joseon dynasty, 19th century
The large rectangular box with reddish-brown ground with areas of powdery gold, the cover with two phoenix, the sides with stylized floral scrolls, interior lined with mottled blue paper.
