Last quarter 19th century, attributed to L.W. Cushing & Sons, Waltham, Massachusetts. This example of a molded copper vane, now in "barn find" condition, retains some original gilding with good natural corrosion and verdigris. The body with two unrestored bullet holes. Surface as noted, seems have splits along back of neck and front chest of animal. Both horns have been bent, support rod original but with a bow, tail is original, in "as found" condition.
