Late 19th to early 20th century, American. The serpentine crest joined to ogival wings continuing to rolled arms, centering a trapezoidal seat, fitted with conforming cushion, raised on frontal, well carved cabrio legs, terminating in ball and claw feet with shaped returns. The rear legs back-swept. Retains original pale blue velvet fabric, now discolored and faded, the chair frame is structurally solid, mahogany legs with good color and patina.
