Circa mid 19th century, probably American. The first depicting a hunter with a pair of dogs beneath a tree and color heightened ink and water color. Framed and matted under glass. 14" x 16", overall 21-1/2" x 23". Very good condition. The second piece is of a family silhouette portrait group of Mary Johnston McLean with her daughter Mary McLean and John McLean as a toddler seated on his mother's lap. There is a diagonal surface scratch lower right facing, most notable in the girl's dress, otherwise good. The third of these is of the same family and shows Mary Johnston McLean seated with Hester McLean Singluni standing to the left and Mary McLean to the right. Both are 12-3/4" x 10-1/2", unframed. Very good overall with no imperfections. Lot is accompanied by an in period hand written note identifying the family in silhouettes, now affixed to the cardboard backings.
