拍品描述: 176.00ctw Precious Fire Opal Dual Strand 24" Necklace W/6.00ctw Carved Emerald & VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond Solid Platinum Clasp - This beautiful necklace is comprised of two strands containing approx. 176.00ctw genuine precious fire opal. The opals display a vibrant golden-orange background, and unlike many fire opals that you find in the market today, has a beautiful play of color with flashes of yellow, green and blue. These opals have a unique glowing quality, and you would almost think that they would glow in the dark. This rare gemstone is created in ancient volcanoes, when water seeps into the flowing lava, and is becoming increasingly harder to come by. The necklace measures 24" in length, and is finished with a solid platinum 16mm clasp, embellished with approx. 5.00ctw carved emeralds and 1.00ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G round-cut diamonds. The emeralds are nearly flawless, and display a lovely blue-green color which looks lovely against the color play of the opal. (WEIGHT: 41.1 grams)
