拍品描述: 47.07ct GRS Certified No Heat Burma Blue Sapphire, 2.50ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid Platinum Cocktail Ring (Comes W/$750,000 Appraisal) - This magnificent ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a massive 47.07ct pear-cut blue sapphire. The sapphire has been certified by the Gemresearch Swisslab as having a Burmese origin and no indications of heating. This monumental gemstone is one of the largest and most important unheated Burma blue sapphires to enter the market in quite some time. This stunning piece has excellent investment potential, as Burma blue sapphire values are steadily climbing. In 2012 a 39ct no heat Burma sapphire sold for over $2.7 million, a value of over $76,000 per carat. This sapphire is an elegant pear cut, and displays a vivid velvety blue color. This stone has a unique, natural rainbow inclusion on the outer edge, and a skilled gem cutter can recut and polish the stone making it one of the nicest no heat Burma blue sapphires we have ever seen, and potentially giving it a value of approx. $25,000 to $35,000 per carat based on other auction comparables. If the buyer wishes, we can have this done with our Los Angeles jeweler prior to shipment. The sapphire is mounted in a dual 4-prong setting, surrounded by a halo fiery white diamonds. The ring contains approx. 2.50ctw VS1-VS2/F-G brilliant round-cut diamonds, which also decorate the shoulders of the piece. This ring has a heavy and luxurious feel, and truly radiates sophistication and grandeur. The table of the ring measures a massive 27.5mm x 21.5mm, and the band measures 3mm wide. The ring will be accompanied by the GRS report for the sapphire, along with a $750,000 insurance valuation report in the winning bidder's name by a graduate appraiser. Ring size: 6.
