拍品描述: 10.80ct GIA Certified Paraiba Tourmaline, 1.70ctw VS2-SI1/F-G Diamond & Solid Platinum Cocktail Ring (Comes W/$54,000 Appraisal) - This stunning ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a beautiful 10.80ct GIA certified Paraiba Tourmaline. The GIA report describes the center stone as a modified brilliant oval cut with a transparent greenish blue color. This gem has an unusual vivid blue-green that had never been seen before in any gemstone, and beautiful facet work that enhances the gorgeous color even more. The gemstone appears to glow with a neon or electric-like quality, and this specimen is truly like no other gemstone. The ring is embellished with approx. 1.70ctw genuine VS2-SI1/F-G diamonds which create a halo around the tourmaline and decorate the shoulders of the piece, finishing the ring beautifully. The diamonds are fiery white, and look magnificent against the vibrant blue color of the tourmaline. Paraiba Tourmalines are incredibly rare, and even more so when they are in this high carat and quality. The table of the ring measures approx. 24.5mm x 16mm, and the band measures approx. 2.5mm wide.
